EBBW Vale girl Rachel Joyce helped raise £1,500 for the Tredegar-based Hospice of the Valleys with a surprise charity paraglide for her 13th birthday.
Glyncoed Comprehensive Rachel was the youngest of five hospice supporters, including Jane Carver, Matthew Hopkins, Kay Twohig and Juanita Watts, who took part in the paraglide off Nant-y-Moel near Treorchy on Sunday.
