A CHARITY is re-appealing for information to help find a Caldicot man who mysteriously vanished on a trip to Tenby five years ago today.
James Nutley of Deepweir went missing after a night out with friends in the seaside resort.
Missing Wales, a charity dedicated to helping trace missing people, is urging anyone who could help find Mr Nutley to get in touch.
The group were in the town as part of an golf trip and Mr Nutley left a pub at 11.40pm to head back to his hotel, the Giltar.
CCTV cameras captured his last known whereabouts at 11.57pm on October 24, 2004, as he was crossing the road towards the Atlantic Hotel. He was never seen again.
In the footage, six people can be seen walking along the pavement past the hotel, around ten - 15 metres away from Mr Nutley.
A search of the coastline in the days following his disappearance failed to find any trace of him.
As reported in the Argus in August, Mr Nutley's parents, Jeff and Catherine, retraced his last steps to mark his 30th birthday.
The couple travel to Tenby regularly.
Missing Wales is re-appealing for these people, or anyone else who might have seen Mr Nutley, to contact them.
He is 6ft 2in, has brown hair and was wearing a white top with blue sleeves and blue jeans on the night he vanished.
Mr and Mrs Nutley are visiting Tenby this weekend.
"We go down every anniversary and walk around. It makes us feel better being around where James was," said Mr Nutley. "We'll also pop into the Giltar Hotel, where he was staying, the staff there remember him and are friendly."
BLOB: Anyone who thinks they can help is asked to call Missing Wales on 08000 12 17 17.
