ENTRIES are now flooding in to our Service with a Smile competition two weeks ago.
From small independent shops which have been in the city for years, to chain stores like Boots or BHS, we have received all sorts of nominations for customer care you think is second to none.
So if you haven’t nominated your favourite business yet, now is the time.
Despite the recession, Newport shops continue to provide good customer service, and we want to hear about it.
Over the next six months, the Argus and Newport Chamber of Trade are looking for one trader every month who has really made the difference to your shopping trip.
And to encourage you to take part, every time you nominate a member of staff in one of Newport's shops or market stalls your name will be entered in a monthly draw for the chance to win a £25 voucher to be spent in Newport.
The winning traders will be named and photographed in the Argus each month.
Manager of All About Adam on Clytha Park Road Jo Manuel said fantastic customer service was vital in her business because they were helping customers prepare for the best day of their lives.
“With our customers it’s not that they just come in and buy something and we never see them again, it’s normally a year-long relationship.
To enter, e-mail via the link below, saying who you are, who the shop/retailer you are nominating and why.
The deadline for October/November nominations will be Friday November 21.
Winners will be judged by a panel from Newport's Chamber of Trade and the Argus.
Normal Argus rules apply.
