A 27-YEAR-old man was taken to hospital yesterday after an accident near Ynysddu.
The accident happened at 2.20pm near the Switchgear roundabout on the A472 between Pontllanfraith and Ynysddu.
The man was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport with injuries not thought to be life threatening.
Traffic was stopped by police at the Switchgear roundabout and the road was closed between the A472 and the B4251 at the Ynysddu and Wyllie junction.
