A CWMBRAN girl who already holds the title of Miss UK is now in the fight to be named Miss International 2009.
Former Miss Wales, Chloe-Beth Morgan, who was named Miss UK in July, will be jetting off to China on November 14 to compete in the major global pageant.
There she will be up against 60 other contestants from around the world all going for the title.
She said: “I am really excited about it. I hope that I will do not only Wales but the UK proud when I represent Great Britain at the Miss International final.
“It just shows that the Miss Wales competition really can open doors to so many new opportunities. I would recommend it to anyone.”
Organisers of Miss Wales, Vibe Models are now holding 22 regional qualifiers across the country in the search to find Miss Wales 2010.
The deadline for the Miss Newport and Miss Torfaen qualifiers is November 25.
