NEWPORT girl Leanne wants to find fame in the world of glamour modelling when she turns 18.
Leanne has been modelling for two years and has already appeared in a professional shoot for a car magazine.
When she turns 18 in June she wants to join her idols Jackie Degg and Lucy Pinder and become a glamour model.
Leanne, whose parents run the Royal Albert pub in Maindee, said: "This is something I have wanted to do since I was really little. "I really want to get into page three and lads' mag work.
"People may think it's a strange thing for a young girl but it is something I have always wanted to do."
She was given some words of encouragement from Daily Star pin-up Lucy Pinder.
Former Lliswerry High School pupil Leanne said: "I e-mailed Lucy asking for advice and she said 'It's not all about looks, if you are determined you will get there', and that gave me a lot of confidence."
Leanne's parents were initially against her chosen occupation but now step-father Peter Rice, landlord of the Royal Albert, says: "We both wish her all the best because she has put a lot of work into it.
"We thought it was just a fleeting thing but she's really gone for it."
