MEMBERS of Motorcycle Club took on the role of Easter bunnies yesterday by delivering chocolate eggs to children spending the spring holiday in the Royal Gwent children’s wards.
Up to 20 bikers rode the 14 mile route from the Tippling Philosopher pub in Caldicot, through Rogiet, Undy, Magor and Langstone, before pulling up at Newport’s Royal Gwent hospital with a sack full of Easter eggs to hand out to youngsters.
The chocolate treats were given to 46 children, from new born babies through to teenagers.
Chairman of Caldicot Motorcycle Club Tony Price said: “This is the third year we’ve made this Easter trip. We just wanted to give the kids something to smile about.”
