A CANCER survivor is helping organise a‘bikeathon’ in aid of The Prostate Cancer charity.
Keith Davies was 65 when he discovered he had the disease in 2005, but after treatment he has now fully recovered.
The keen cyclist joined Cwmbran Vale Rotary Club last year and with fellow members he plans to take part in the bikeathon on April 25.
Cyclists joining Mr Davies can choose from three routes, the family ride, intermediate and club, the latter for riders with some experience of main roads.
All are encouraged to make a voluntary donation of £10 or more and list as many sponsors as possible.
The ride starts at 10am at Glan-yr-Afon leisure centre, Edlogan Way, Cwmbran.
Entry forms can be obtained via Cwmbran Vale Rotary Club or by contacting Mr Davies on 01633 872899.
