THE SEARCH is on for the new 'Face of Cwmbran' as the current holder moves on to her new role as a police officer.
Former Miss Torfaen Larissa Feeley was chosen as the first 'Face of Cwmbran' four years ago, but as she starts her new career with Gwent Police, Cwmbran Shopping is looking for her successor.
Gerry Hutchings, Cwmbran Shopping centre manager, said: "We organiseed our first search for the Face of Cwmbran four years ago and our winner Larissa Feeley has been an incredible ambassador for the town ever since."
Mr Hutchings said it was now time to find a "worthy successor" and the new 'face' would need to be "warm, friendly and brimming with personality, confidence and charm."
He said: "You'll be dressed in all the latest styles and have your hair and make-up done by the experts, so you're sure to learn more about the world of fashion and retailing."
Anyone interested in taking part should visit www.cwmbranshopping.co.uk to enter online or download an entry form. Forms are also available from the information centre in the Congress Theatre.
Each entry must be accompanied by a clear, full length photo. The closing date for entries is May 14.
