NEWPORT buses have had a makeover as part of a new campaign.
'You'll be surprised who you might see' is Newport Bus's new campaign aiming to help encourage people to leave the car at home and take the bus.
Celebrity bus users, including Rhys and Eggsy from Newport band Goldie Lookin' Chain, boxing champion Nathan Cleverly, and Wales and Newport Gwent Dragon rugby stars Colin Charvis and Aled Brew, are appearing on billboards across the city.
Chris Blyth, Newport Transport managing director, said: “The city of Newport is changing and changing for the better, and it is important that as its main bus operator Newport Bus and its parent company Newport Transport modernises to match its aspirations and those of its people too."
An all-new website will be launched later this month, enabling customers to plan their journeys in advance and a range of new leaflets will be available detailing each of Newport Bus’ 47 services.
