TO celebrate 70 years of the Home Guard, Dad’s Army is returning to the stage with a brand new adaptation of the classic sitcom.
The same team who cleverly breathed life into the Lost Episodes are dusting down their uniforms and polishing their medals to bring these much-loved characters back to Cardiff’s New Theatre.
A quality cast is headed by Leslie Grantham, putting his best foot forward as the shifty Private Walker.
The play features classic episodes hand-picked by legendary writers Jimmy Perry and David Croft and includes adaptations of their own personal favourites, Branded and Mum’s Army.
Sign up now for an evening of nostalgic pleasure and madcap mayhem with the would-be heroes of Walmington-on-Sea.
It runs at the New Theatre from July 13-17. Tickets start from £7.50 and are available from the box office on 029 2087 8889.
