MEET Dorothy, or should that be Dorothies? These two Valleys ladies will take the starring role in the new production of the Wizard of Oz.
Natasha Jerwood, 21, and Emily Larsen, 16, will split the role between them in Blackwood Musical Theatre Society's production at the town's Miners' Institute.
The show opens tomorrow, with Miss Larsen taking centre stage on Wednesday, Friday and the Saturday matinee performance and Miss Jerwood leading the line tomorrow, Thursday and Saturday evening.
For Miss Larsen, a Pontllanfriath Comprehensive School pupil, this marks her first role since she joined the society and the pair have been rehearsing since September.
She said: "On Wednesday, I'll probably be nervous more than anything, but I am looking forward to it as well, I'm really excited."
