Unemployment rose 10,000 in the three months to February, official figures showed today.
With the General Election campaign in full swing, the rise takes the number of Welsh people out of work to 131,000 and the unemployment rate to 9% - 1.4% higher than the same time last year.
But the number of people claiming Jobseeker's Allowance fell by 2,000 last month to 75,700.
