AFTER the critical and popular successes of their most recent touring productions, She Stoops To Conquer (a four-star review in The Guardian) and The Importance Of Being Earnest, Welsh theatre company Mappa Mundi return to Gwent.
Dangerous Liaisons is a new stage adaptation of Pierre Choderlos de Laclos’ 1782 novel of lust, greed, deception, and romance.
A sumptuously mounted celebration of artful wickedness, betrayal, and sexual intrigue among depraved 18th-century French aristocrats, Dangerous Liaisons will offer audiences seductively decadent fun.
The production plays at Blackwood Miners’ Institute on Tuesday, April 27, at 7.30pm and then at Abergavenny’s Borough Theatre on Friday April 30 and Saturday, May, also at 7.30pm.
Tickets for the Blackwood show are available from the box office 01495 227206 and the Borough Theatre on 01873 850805.
