A MONMOUTHSHIRE village is to host its first music festival on May 22, promising six hours of top local bands to help raise money for charity.
Top of the bill are Thryd Eye, a family trio from the village who recently released their first single, while bands from Caldicot, Chepstow, Cardiff Hereford and Bristol will also grace the event's two stages.
The family-centred music festival will help raise cash for Devauden's village hall as well as the Dogs for the Disabled charity.
Organiser Jeremy Horton said: "I have been amazed by the talent of these local groups and deliughted they have all given their time for free in support of our charities."
Family tickets for the festival, which starts at 3pm, are £10 while individual entry costs £5. For more information on the event and the bands visit http://www.devaudenmusicfest.com.
