THE new face of Cwmbran has been chosen from 300 girls across Torfaen.

Natasha Deal, 19, from Ponthir will now represent Cwmbran Shopping in its advertising and promotions and take part in fashion assignments.

Miss Deal said: "I'm absolutely overwhelmed to have won the competition, and it's a great honour to be chosen as the new Face of Cwmbran.”

While studying for a Retail Management degree in Cardiff, Miss Deal also works part-time in Topshop in Cwmbran and entered the competition after her manager suggested it.

“It’s something I’ve never tried before but now I’m really looking forward to it,” she said.
