AN AUSTRALIAN-BASED, Abercarn-born drag artist will perform at the Memorial Hall in Newbridge next month.
Stan Munro, also a stand up comedian, has performed with some of the biggest names in show business, including the late, great Tommy Cooper.
A friend of camp icons John Inman and Larry Grayson, he was also a pal of fellow drag queen Danny La Rue.
Although now settled Down Under, Munro is back in South Wales to visit family and friends.
He is also looking to track down long lost mates and if any one wants to get in touch, they can contact the Memorial Hall to pass on a message on 01495 243252.
Munro will be appearing with Welsh tenor Robert Knight.
The pair perform at Newbridge Memorial Hall on Saturday, June 18. Doors open at 7pm.
Tickets are £6 each or two for £10.
They are available from Newbridge Memo, Newbridge Trading or Sainsbury's in Pontllanfraith.
