ABERGAVENNY’S The Borough Theatre has some top quality entertainment for family audiences next week on Friday, June 24 with a show that took last year’s Adelaide and Edinburgh festivals by storm.
Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones is said to be an hour of non-stop laughs, surprises and amazement for anyone over eight years, is the creation of performer and puppeteer Jeff Achtem from Montreal.
The show is a series of comic sketches where Achtem transforms items from a junk filled set into shadow puppets which are projected on to a screen like a cartoon.
In each scene, the audience watches the transformation of household bits and pieces into all sorts of amazing objects and characters.
The Borough’s manager Nick Banwell saw the performance in Edinburgh and said: ‘It’s a brilliant and imaginative show. It’s very funny and will appeal to all ages."
Tickets, which cost £7.50, are available from the box office 01873 850805 or online at www.boroughtheatreabergavenny.co.uk
