ONLY Men Aloud kicked off the National Eisteddfod will a sell out concert on Friday night. Held in the Maes’ iconic Pink Pavilion, 3,136 people filtered in to watch the performance which marked the official start to the National Eisteddfod 2010.
Despite a couple of minor hitches, there was some duplicated tickets and the choir took to the stage 10 minutes later than planned, the performance was worth the slight wait and no-one went without a seat. People flocked from all over Wales to watch the choir perform at what was a memorable night for all who attended and a great way to start the week's festivities.
