THE terrain at The Works is proving tricky to negotiate for some disabled patrons.
With the majority of the 300-acre site covered in dust and loose pebbles, meaning some people in wheelchairs are struggling to get about.
Barbara Harris, 61, from New Inn, Pontypool, said: “It’s dreadful, I’d like to see it a bit better paved. Even the plastic panels along the sides rise up into lumps so it can be troublesome to get around.”
However, Irene Rogers, 68, who is visiting from Devon, said she was having no problems in her mobility scooter.
She said: “I’ve been absolutely happy, no problems whatsoever, everybody has been really helpful, if anything is in the way, they’re happy to move it.”
