THREE generations from the same Penhow family took great pride in stewarding at this year's Eisteddfod.
Keith Jones, 68, was born in Glan Ebbw Terrace, Ebbw Vale and took his daughter Helen Bignell, 45 and granddaughter Victoria Bignell, 20 to the Valleys spectacular.
Miss Bignell is studying Welsh and media studies at Aberystwyth University and taught her grandad a few phrases for him to learn, as he is not fluent in the language.
"We all enjoyed it and I thought it would be a good opportunity to use the language," he said.
The group were stationed at the front entrance, helping visitors through the turnstiles.
