THERE are no Swiss players taking part in this year’s Ryder Cup, but a sportsman from that country seems to have made quite an impression on many of the competitors.
Max Baumann is vice president of the Swiss Golf Pro Supporters Club and has collected the signatures of European players, including Lee Westwood and the Molinari brothers.
He says his secret weapon in beating the crowds is a baseball cap adorning the name of his compatriot, tennis star Roger Federer, which all the players have signed on the peak.
