RYDER Cup Wales Chief Executive, Rob Holt, said contingency plans for the tournament’s extension into Monday had always been part of the preparation process.
He said every effort was being made to fulfil obligations to players, guests and spectators, as well as bearing in mind the needs of the venue and the local community.
He said: “We cannot control the weather, those things that we have sought to control such as the operation of the infrastructure on and off site and showcase events such as Welcome to Wales have received high praise from all parts and we take great pride in that.”
