SIX more men were charged yesterday, in connection with violence that broke out before a Newport County match in September.
The men, aged 18, 21, 39, 43, 48, and 51, all from the north Nottinghamshire area, were arrested after disorder broke out before the Newport County v Mansfield Town match on September 18 last year.
All six were arrested in and around Mansfield in December and charged when they answered bail this week.
The men are alleged to have been involved in violent exchanges between groups of Mansfield and Newport County fans in Newport city centre prior to the match.
Five Newport men, aged 31, 41, 42, and two aged 44, were charged with violent disorder earlier this week, in connection with the same incidence.
All 11 men were bailed to appear in Newport magistrates' court next month.
