Sky’s Andy Gray and Richard Keys showed complete ignorance in their cavemen opinions of lineswoman Sian Massey, during an off-air chat before the Liverpool and Wolverhampton game.

We are surprised they didn't know better. Had they learnt nothing from the Gordon Brown fiasco last year when he described an elderly woman as ‘bigoted’ while still attached to a microphone?

That they did not appear during last night’s football was the right decision.

If they wish to chat about women in sport privately then that is up to them but to do so within the hearing of others puts their chauvinistic views into the public domain.
