TWO Newport siblings who took each other on for the first time at husky racing have returned home safely from their exertions, along with a trophy.
Kean Campling, 13, won the award for having the most improved time on the second day.
On the first, his sister Bethan was delighted to beat him on their first test against each other in Aviemore, coming 7th with dogs Louie and Missy, whilst Kean came 9th with Fyr and Blue.
Mum Samantha Campling said her son had a fall on the first day, but she was pleased to report the family have returned to their Rose Street home safe and sound.
They are now looking forward to co-ordinating the largest husky event in South Wales, at Pembrey Forest, next month.
