THE BOYFRIEND of murdered teenage mum-to-be, Nikitta Grender, left a heartbreaking message about seeing his child yesterday on a social networking site.
Ms Grender's childhood sweetheart, Ryan Mayes, 17, posted a message on Facebook yesterday about their baby girl, Kelsey-May.
His moving message said: "Heya my angel so glad that i seen our little girl today she was beautiful she had ur eyes my hair and our nose who ever have done this bbe they are going to get caught for what they dne angel.
"Im missin u every second both of u made my world n that world cnt be put bk together because of som sick horrible person sleep tight my angels spk to u tomoz xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
Yesterday, Nikitta's parents Paul and Marcia and younger brother Luke laid flowers at her flat in Broadmead Park. Luke, who put his arm around his father's shoulder to comfort him as he looked at other floral tributes, left a teddy bear which said: "Nikitta, I will never forget you..."
The mother of one of Miss Grender's best friends also started a collection for the teenager.
Karin Morgan, 38, along with her son Luke, 20, and his friend Shanna Slade, 19, have been door-to-door in the estate, asking people for donations for a wreath and flowers for their friend's funeral - with any money left over to go to putting a tribute to her in the announcement pages of the Argus.
As of yesterday, they had collected more than £105.
Miss Slade, 19, said: "People have been brilliant, we've got all this support and it shows how much she was loved by everyone. We're so pleased - there's not one person who has said no."
Friends have also organised a bag pack at Iceland in Spytty on Friday to help raise more money.
Frends of Miss Grender were still laying flowers and teddy bear tributes for her and Kelsey-May yesterday.
Becky Lloyd, 17, from Alway went with her mother Mair to pay their respects as she was also a Hartirdge High School pupil.
Miss Lloyd said: "I didn't believe it when I heard. She was a lovely person, always happy. I was in shock when I found out, you wouldn't expect it to happen."
Jenna White, 19, who had known Miss Grender for 12 years, also went to her childhood friend's house to lay flowers in memory of the person she described as: "Lovely, a party girl who was always up for a laugh."
Lyn Henthorne, whose granddaughter went to school with Miss Grender said: "A life was just beginning and it's just been taken away. I was just horrified when I heard the news. I felt sick. It's just horrible. We thought at first it was just an accidental fire, but to find she was murdered, it's just awful."
