NIKITTA Grender’s grandmother left a touching tribute on a social networking site as the number of people joining online tribute groups passed 13,000.
Friends of Miss Grender set up groups on social networking site Facebook within hours of the news of her death and there are now 13,517 people paying their respects.
Grandmother Jane Brunnock, which said: “Our beautifull grandaughter Nikitta and great grandaughter Kelsey May have been taken from us in a horrific way. Although your in heaven and shining bright in the sky you will always be in our hearts and we will never ever forget you cos you are a big part of our life.
“Heaven will be glad to have to beautiful angels join ...them and you will be looked after and loved very much. Good night and god bless . Lots of love huggs and kisses nan and granch saidie.”
Another of Miss Grender’s relatives, Coley Brunnock, said: “Just went to pay respects at your flat and the golden tears that ran down my face were a sign of how much i love u and baby kelsey may. U girls are everything this world needed! And now uve been taken away :’( the flat had me in floods of tears. iloveyou with all my heart and more! Nikitta Grender R.I.P.”
Tributes were also left by people further afield who had seen reports of Miss Grender’s death.
Paul Hornbuckle, who read the story on the Argus website, said: “I live in canada and have for the past 25 years. I use to live in broadmead park and this really scares me to what this world is coming to that somebody could do this to what I see a beautiful person. I hope the family gets justice on this. RIP Nikitta and baby.”
Another tribute, from Billy Walsh, said: “A lovely girl who blossomed into beautiful young woman with a darling little bud of her own ready to bloom, deepest sympathy to the brunnock/grender families at this sad time. RIP there is a special place put aside in gods garden for you both to bloom xxxx.”
