This week sees the return of Holiday on Ice to the CIA and it promised to be more extravagant, more exhilarating and more spectacular that anything before staged on ice! So, with high expectations my daughter and I went to see the show and I can say it definitely didn’t disappoint.

The show centred around 2 main characters Ein and Stein and their discovery of how the universe connects through energy. Throughout the show we are transformed into different scenes where we follow the energy connecting each time.

The whole show was brilliant with expert skating skills on display from everyone, and despite a few falls there was a high level of skating tricks to be watched like the head banger from Dancing on Ice.

The characters Ein and Stein stole the show as they mingled with the audience for about 10 minutes before the show started. Further to this the whole cast were constantly interacting with the audience, which was marvellous because this really got everybody involved with the action. My favourite scene was the underwater scene, Neptune’s Underworld, where you could see that principal dancer was really enjoying himself.

A must for all the family, go and see this at the CIA this week! Ends on the 13th February 2011.
