POLICE are continuing to question a Newport man on suspicion of murdering pregnant teenager Nikitta Grender, after another extension was granted.
The 26-year-old man, named locally as Carl Whant, was arrested on Wednesday morning on suspicion of the 19-year-old's murder.
A Gwent Police spokeswoman said police were granted a further extension to question the man in custody, which expires at 6am tomorrow.
