PEOPLE in Newport will be able to quiz their Welsh Assembly candidates at a meeting taking place later this month.
In the run up to the Assembly elections, a coalition of organisations are hosting meetings across Wales to talk about housing, care and regeneration, with their first one taking place in Newport.
Residents will be able to quiz prospective assembly candidates and current Assembly members at the event, taking place at the Riverside Suite in Newport Centre on Feburary 28.
Rosemary Butler, Conservative candidate for Newport East Nick Webb, Tory candidate for Newport West David Williams, and South Wales East Liberal Democrat M Veronica German are currently confirmed to attend.
“Are you on board?” is being hosted by housing associations Seren Group, Newport City Homes, Tai Pawb, Ringland Communities First, Newport Care and Repair and trade body Community Housing Cymru.
The event begins at 9.30am and finishes at 12pm.
