VOLUNTEERS at a Monmouth charity shop went orange for the day last week as part of the charity's Spread the Warmth campaign.
More than 20 members of staff and volunteers from Age Cymru in the Oldway Centre took part in the charity's first ever Bobble Day on Friday.
The shop was supporting the Spread the Warmth campaign which aims to get people to recognise the 250 older people who die every day during the winter months because of the cold weather.
Even the shop was decked out in orange and shoppers were able to show their support by buying a bobble for £1.
Shop manager Carol Hoskins said: "Our army of volunteers have been really enthusiastic about Bobble Day and they pulled out all the stops to get the shop ready - they did a fantastic job."
