INDONESIAN teachers visited Caerphilly schools as part of an initiative to learn more about how sport is taught in different countries.
Staff from schools in Indonesia visited Blackwood Primary to find out more about the way physical education and sport is taught over here.
Children from the school as well as pupils from Cefn Fforest Primary, Blackwood Comprehensive and Pengam Primary joined in the event to demonstrate a PE lesson to the visitors.
Visits were then made to other schools in the area as part of the initiative which is run by the British Sports Council ahead of the 2012 Olympics.
The visit followed last year when teachers from the Caerphilly schools visited Indonesia to learn more about ways in which sport is taught over there.
Acting deputy head at Blackwood Primary, Jo Tucker said: "It is all about us showing them different ways of teaching sport so that we can learn from each other."
It is now planned for children and staff from Indonesia to visit in June to hold a mini Olympics.
