STAFF from two Newport supermarkets put on their walking boots to raise money for a baby charity over the weekend.
Workers from the Asda stores in Pill and Duffryn walked five miles around the grounds of Tredegar House in Newport on Sunday to raise funds for Tommy's Baby Charity.
Tommy's funds medical research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth and is Asda's chosen charity of the year.
Staff from the two stores joined together with many dressed up in pyjamas for the three hour walk.
Each of the two stores aimed to raise a minimum of £500 through sponsorship from employees' friends and family.
Staff at the Pill store have already raised £400 and staff at Duffryn have raised £600 so far.
