THE old Severn Bridge was awash with colourful characters today, including bumble bees, nuns and people dressed as Elvis Presley.
Over 150 people walked five miles from Chepstow, over the bridge into England and back again, as part of St David's Foundation Hospice Care's longest-running fundraiser.
It has now been going for over 10 years and event organisers hope that this year's edition will bring in a couple of thousand pounds when all sponsorship money is collected.
The charity's chief executive Emma Saysell said: "It was a fantastic day, with lots of people in fancy dress. Luckily, the weather held and everyone had a great time."
