GWENT families enjoyed free boat rides on the Monmouthshire-Brecon Canal on Sunday as part of a national 'go boating day'.
More than 100 people visited Goytre Wharf, near Abergavenny to board a skippered narrowboat, owned by Redline Boats, and were given a taster session and talk about the canal by manager Mark Doe.
