STAFF from Newport’s Gocompare.com are the latest to take on three of the highest peaks in Wales in aid of St David’s Foundation.
A total of 25 from the price comparison website business, based at Imperial Park, will aim to scale three of Wales’ tallest mountains in a single day on July 2.
The peaks are Mount Snowdon which stands at 1,085m, Cadair Idris which is 893m high and Penyfan which stands at 886m.
The staff will make up five teams to complete the challenge.
Sally-Ann Roberts of Gocompare.com said: “We like to back local charities whenever possible and are delighted to be able to support The St David’s Foundation and the invaluable work that they do in the community.”
Western Power Distribution, which has a base at Ty Coch, Cwmbran, is sponsoring the event and has also entered teams into the event.
