PUPILS at a Blaenavon school had fun with fruit this week as they learned more about leading healthy lives.
Five-year-old Blaenavon pupils Chloe Rich, Harrison Lloyd and Ffion Parry (pictured) were among the youngsters making pictures out of fruit and veg peelings as part of a week-long project looking at how to leave healthy lives.
Hill Side Primary School pupils took part in the Healthy Schools Week and found out more about fruit and veg, such as how bananas get to Britain, making headbands and other creative activities.
Natalie Coles, the school’s health schools co-ordinator, said: “It’s been a brilliant week. All the children have really enjoyed the activities and had a really good time.”
