WE believe the Queen becoming the second-longest reigning monarch in 1,000 years of British history is something we should be extremely proud of.
Of course, the royal family has its knockers, but it’s impossible to find fault with a monarch who has hardly put a foot wrong in a 59-year reign.
The one constant presence throughout the past six decades in the UK has been the Queen.
Most of us have known no other head of state.
And with the jubilee next year, we think this is a time our monarch should well and truly be celebrated.
