RICHARD Parks is currently taking on the world’s highest peak, Everest in Nepal.
It forms the toughest leg of his attempts to climb the highest mountain of each of the world’s continents in seven months as well as venturing to the north and south poles.
The former Newport Gwent Dragons rugby player has made it to camp two at 6,400 metres and plans to summit the 8,850- metre high mountain on May 22.
