THE Gwent woman who became the oldest woman in Britain to receive an anti social behaviour order has died aged 85.
Dorothy Evans, of Park Crescent Abergavenny, who had the order imposed on her when was convicted of harrassing her neighbours in 2005, died last Thursday.
In 2007 she was jailed for six months for breaching the order and a year later, after more breaches, was banned from her home for five years.
This was later over turned by judges in the Court of Appeal who said it breached her human rights.
Instead she was forced to live under curfew, which prevented her from leaving her house after 3pm, or before 10am, and from entering her back garden at any time.
Mrs Evans, last appeared in court in 2010 accused of further breaches but the case was adjourned due to her ill health after the court heard she may not be fit to stand trial.
