A GROUP of Newport pupils recently met staff from Newport City Homes to find out about career options.
Year Six pupils from St Woolos Primary School visited the organisation’s Nexus House office in Pill as part of its aspirations project.
The aim of the visit was to introduce the children to the different roles and opportunities for employment and inspire them to make the right choices for themselves in secondary school.
The children had a quiz, spoke to staff and had a tour of the building and a treasure hunt.
Headteacher Heather Vaughan: said: “The opportunity for the children to interview people about their jobs was invaluable and a really good introduction to the world of work.”
