WITH TREDEGAR’s historic Bedwellty House and Park set to reopen next month, volunteers are needed for the welcome back celebrations.
The house and park hold many memories for local people who used the outside swimming pool, park and bowls green, while the local council were based in the house itself.
One of the highlights of the reopening will be a memory trail, where photos and testimonies from people will give a history of how it has been used through the years.
After two years of work, it reopens on June 4, with the community invited to get involved. If you are interested in volunteering in the welcome back celebrations and then on an ongoing basis after, contact project officer Ruth Bradbury on 01495 353326 or ruth.bradbury@ blaenau-gwent.gov.uk
