PEOPLE say there's more than one way to skin a cat - and firefighters proved there's also more than one way to rescue a cat from a Cwmbran roof.
Argus reader Grace Dixon sent in these pictures of a rescue in Chapel Street, Pontnewydd, yesterday morning.
She said locals reported the cat being stuck on the roof all night, and firefighters scaled the roof of Cheshire and Co in a bid to rescue it.
But the cat was having other ideas and eluded the would-be hepers, until they used what Ms Dixon says was a "light spray" from their hose to coax the stuck kitty to safety.
