A NEWPORT man was charged with the rape and kidnap of an 18-year-old woman.
The 61-year-old is due to appear in court tomorrow morning following an alleged attack in the city.
The man was arrested on Friday in connection with the incident which happened in the early hours of Thursday along Chepstow Road and West Nash Road, Newport.
He is due to appear before Caerphilly magistrates tomorrow.
