MORE than 6,000 people have joined a Facebook group dedicated to finding a missing Caldicot man.
Joel Andrews, 24, went missing after attending a rave in Devon on May 22, with worried friends and family pleading for information through the social networking site.
Devon and Cornwall Police are searching the Fernworthy Reservoir on the edge of Dartmoor. They also want to speak to a group of people who were swimming there on the morning of May 22, believing they may have vital information or anyone who saw the swimmers.
Yesterday, 6,044 people had joined a group called Joel Andrews Missing on Facebook, which was being inundated with messages.
Philippa Reeks said: "Someone knows something", adding: "Any information at all needs to be passed over. Either to the police or Joel's sister or mum."
Jane Goodway said: "Aint like you to go walkabout without anyone knowing", adding: "I hope you are reading this and we hear from you very soon cos we have to stay positive, the world isn't ready to lose you yet Joel."
Emma Scott said she is wishing and praying harder everyday that Mr Andrews comes home.
The group is linked to a video on YouTube, which features photos of Mr Andrews and messages from his family, which 1,465 people have viewed since it was posted on Monday.
Mr Andrews is white, slim and around 5ft 10in. He has mousy-brown hair, blue eyes and a scar on his chin.
He was last seen wearing a camouflage cap and dark green jacket.
