YEARS of hard work and fundraising turned to celebration, as well-wishers came together to mark the opening of the Serennu Children’s Centre.
The Sparkle Appeal Black Tie Celebration Ball took place at the Newport Hilton Hotel on Friday night.
In April, the first children crossed the threshold of the long awaited state-of-the-art facility at High Cross, which will provide therapy and treatment for children and young people who are disable or developmental difficulties, once specialist staff from health and social services and the voluntary sector move across.
Among the special guests was former Wales and British Lions star and Sparkle patron Colin Charvis.
