CAERPHILLY council will launch a new service aimed at simplifying the notification process after someone dies.
The initiative, called Tell Us Once, gives residents one point of contact when they need to report the death of a loved one.
Previously, family members were required to contact a number of different organisations to ensure all the relevant services were made aware, but this new system will make the process much easier.
Tell Us Once, which is led by the Department of Work and Pensions, is due to be launched in the Caerphilly county on Monday June 27.
