A MONMOUTHSHIRE motorcyclist is in a critical condition after his motorbike collided with a car yesterday.
Gwent Police said the collision between a Honda motorbike and a Volvo car happened at around 10.50am on Station Road, Clydach.
The bike was travelling towards Blaenavon when it was involved in the collision with the Volvo, which was travelling in the same direction.
The 56-year-old male rider of the motorbike, who is from the Clydach area, was taken to Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny, where a police spokeswoman said he was in a stable but critical condition.
Gwent Police Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the incident and have appealed for anyone who saw the collision to call 01633 642404.
