NEW leaflets promoting six days out for tourists visiting Monmouthshire are to be launched today.
Six leaflets will give tourists a list of attractions and activities in the area from castles to churches, canals, mountains and a vineyard The initiative is part of a new ‘Great Days Out’ series compiled by Abergavenny and District Tourism Association (ADTA) and Brecon Beacons National Park and Visit Wales.
ADTA has also produced a leaflet for families called Trails and Tales which takes visitors on a historical walk through the town with a quiz for children.
Gwenllian Jones, Chairman of Abergavenny and District Tourism Association said: “Visitors to Abergavenny will have so many options for things to do that they'll increase the time they stay in the area. Our Tourist Information Centre staff also find it extremely useful when offering people information in Abergavenny.”
Abergavenny Great Days Out leaflets are now available from the Tourist Information Centre or www.breconbeacons.org
